The workshop marks the 60th anniversary of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and focuses on research funding in Europe and Italy. The program includes a historical session highlighting EMBO pivotal role in the establishment of the ERC and a session about European research policymaking. Additionally, a round table discussion will address current trends and challenges in public research funding in Italy.
