Il 12 novembre p.v. si terrà a Roma, presso la Biblioteca accademica< /a> (Scuderie Vecchie di Villa Torlonia), la quarta edizione del conve gno Nuove metodologie fisiche e chimiche per la conservazione e il restauro del patrimonio culturale.
I lavori avranno inizio alle ore 9.30 e termineranno alle ore 17.00.
Questo è il quarto works hop che vede la partecipazione di esperti scientifici italiani provenienti da alcuni dei musei e delle istituzioni accademiche più rinomati al mondo. La serie offre una piattaforma per presentare metodologie chimiche e fisich e innovative attualmente utilizzate nel campo della scienza del patrimonio culturale da istituzioni prestigiose. Inoltre, relatori e relatori condivid ono approfondimenti sui loro percorsi professionali, che vanno dalla grande tradizione italiana di didattica delle scienze del patrimonio culturale ai loro attuali ruoli in musei e istituzioni accademiche. Si evidenziano le d ifferenze di approccio tra questi contesti, creando una base per discussion i su potenziali contributi e opportunità di collaborazione. Il Prof. Sgamel lotti è stato un maestro, profondamente caratterizzando queste attività e i spirando questi incontri. La sua improvvisa scomparsa ci ha lasciato attoni ti. È nostro dovere dedicargli questo incontro, come parte del nostro contr ibuto alla sua memoria e al suo patrimonio.

On November 12th the fourth edition of the conference Novel physical and chemical methodologies for the conservation and restoration of cultural her itage will take place in Rome at the Academy's Library&nbs p;(Scuderie Vecchie di Villa Torlonia).
The conference will start at 9.30 am and end at 5 pm.
This is the fourth workshop that feature s Italian scientific experts from some of the most renowned museums and aca demic institutions in the world. The series provides a platform to showcase innovative chemical and physical methodologies currently used in the field of heritage science by prestigious institutions. In addition, the speakers and panelists share insights into their professional journeys, going from the great Italian tradition of cultural heritage science education to their current roles in museums and academic institutions. They highlight differe nces in approaches between these aspects, creating a foundation for discuss ions on potential contributions and collaborative opportunities. Prof. Sgam ellotti was a master who gave a profound characterisation to these activiti es and inspired meetings. His sudden death left us astonished. Our duty is to dedicate this meeting to him, as part of our contribution to his memory and heritage.
